Ingredients
- 1 29 oz. can pumpkin puree
- 1 c. apple juice or apple cider
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly. Mixture will become more smooth as it is heated and stirred.
- *For a thicker consistency, continue heating and stirring over medium-low heat for an additional 10-15 minutes.
